JAGUAR XJ LAUNCH BARRETTS KENT

Car photography Jaguar XJ saloon
I first saw the Jaguar XJ at the Goodwood revival, the car has really grown on me now and after having a drive in the 5.0 litre XJ I really appreciated the quality and ride of the car, it has an amazing presence on the road and even the paddle shift gear box worked a treat in such a large car. It is fair to say that one of the customers comments on the car looking like a Bentley inside isn't far off the mark, customers were turning up in Mercedes, BMW's and Audi's which is where Jaguar are pitching this car, certainly in terms of looks and ride it beats the competition hands down. The car doesn't give the appearance of being a large saloon when you drive it which is a great compliment with any large saloon, especially the long wheel base version which I drove. As you would expect from a 385 bhp 5.0 litre engine it was incredibly smooth and accelerated with great ease.

In terms of the photography coverage it was a case of documenting the two days at Ashford and Canterbury for Barretts, the images will be used for marketing purposes and were to show a cross section of the customer experience. I shot a mixture of various images with some nice shots of the XJ driving through Canterbury.
