CAR SHOWROOM PHOTOGRAPHY KENT & SUSSEX

I started off at Volkswagen in Crawley, this showroom is on two floors and ideally I was looking for some height to look down on the forecourt, fortunately the dealership had hired a cherry picker for other purposes and allowed me to use it to get the images that I was after. Next stop Nissan Dartford and with the sun shining down on the exact angle I was after it looked like the day was going to go as planned. Tunbridge Wells has four dealerships, Nissan, Toyota, Lexus and Volkswagen, again the sun was in the right direction for three of the four showrooms, and a step ladder was to hand for the Volkswagen showroom photos. Lastly back to Ashford Toyota to cover the showroom there, this was the easiest shot as behind the dealership their is a large industrial estate so their was only one angle that I could use, and again the searing sun was in exactly the right spot. Kit wise I used the full frame of the 5D II and the 17-40mm lens, this gave me the ability to go wide with the images and to get as much of the blue sky in as possible on some of the showroom images. The canvases are to be used in the boardrooms at Motorline so a good advert for my work and the English weather.
