HONDA CRZ

Photography of the new Honda CRZ

I didn't have the car for too long and am looking forward to taking it on a proper shoot soon, but being local I took it to two locations, one an industrial estate just round the corner from me and then off to some lush green fields off the beaten track. The car is classed as a coupe and with the lack of room in the rear seats I think it is justified as it is shorter and more squat then the Civic. The first engine in the range is the 122 bhp petrol hybrid engine, being a Honda it is very rev happy and although not super fast it does feel great handling wise and I defy anyone not to have a smile on their face after driving it, can't wait for the rumoured Type R version next year. As I was limited with the car I chose to take two viewpoints of the car, side and three quarter rear, the second photo was taken in a green field which seemed an ideal setting for the cars eco credentials. Lens choice was the 24-70mm, a great car lens, good wide angle and the 70mm of the zoom is nice to crop in closely to various sections of the car. The Honda CRZ is now on display at Barrett's Honda in Canterbury and well worth taking a look at, it does hint a little of the Scirocco in places but that isn't a bad thing, and the CRX heritage is their with the rear boot design.
